Privacy Policy
How CalmCare Log handles data today.
Overview
CalmCare Log stores caregiving information so caregivers can keep a daily care log with mood changes, routine needs, activity history, and backup status.
Information collected
- Mood entries and optional notes entered by the user
- Grocery items and list status
- Activity history generated by app actions
- Sanitized technical diagnostics such as app launch, backup, support email, and storage failure events
- Backup timestamps
How information is used
This information is used only to operate the app's caregiving features, show recent history and on-device mood trends, support backup export or import, and help troubleshoot app failures through a user-initiated diagnostics export.
Data storage
CalmCare Log stores data locally on the device. The app does not require account creation and does not include analytics or advertising SDKs in the current version. Diagnostics are stored locally and are not sent to a developer-controlled server automatically.
Exports and sharing
If the user exports a backup or diagnostics file, the chosen destination such as Files, iCloud, Mail, or another share target will handle that data under its own terms and privacy practices. Diagnostics exports are intended to avoid caregiver-entered note text and grocery item names.
User controls
Users can delete mood entries, grocery items, and history from inside the app. Removing the app may also remove locally stored data that was not backed up elsewhere.
